To replace the timing belt on a Fiat Ducato 2.8 JTD, open the bonnet to access the engine compartment and remove the cover on the left side of the engine block. You will also need to remove the right front wheel by unscrewing the appropriate bolts, along with the corresponding wheel arch liner.

This will allow access to the pulleys, particularly the tensioner roller, which must be removed to reduce the tension on the belt. The old belt can then be removed and replaced with a new one, followed by reinstalling the removed components.
