Replacing the fuel filter is a simple operation that should be done frequently for maximum performance. To replace this filter, two tools are required for its extraction. Begin to remove the power connector, lift the filter upwards and disconnect the fuel lines, allowing the diesel fuel to flow out. Unscrew the filter cover and remove it. The filter cartridge is integral with the cover and must be removed by simply applying a little force. Replace the cartridge and close the lid by replacing the rubber gasket. Reconnect the hoses and connector. Thoroughly clean up any spilled fuel residues to avoid fires.
