If the remote for the Fiat Panda, which opens and closes the car doors, is no longer functioning, it is time to replace the battery, which has drained over time and use. Press the chrome button to release the metal key, take a small flat screwdriver and turn the plastic screw found in the key housing.

Using the screwdriver again, lift the battery holder and pull it out, applying side pressure to remove the old battery; insert a new battery, place the assembly back in its slot, and secure it by turning the screw.
