To reset the Sync 2 of the Ford car radio, you need to turn on the instrument panel by inserting the ignition key into the ignition switch. Once the panel is on, press and hold the track forward button and the CD eject button simultaneously.

This will reveal the secret diagnostic menu: through this menu, you can access the option to completely reset the Sync 2. After completing the operation, you can turn off the panel.
