Replacement of the heating resistor of a Ford Escape

We can see in this very short tutorial how to replace the cabin fan resistor on a Ford Escape, second generation model produced from 2008 to 2012. First, we need to remove the passenger side glove box by pressing it firmly on the sides and then lowering it completely. Now, disconnect the electrical connector of the resistor as shown in the video and unscrew the two screws holding it in place with an 8mm wrench. Once done, we can remove the old resistor and replace it with a new one, then reassemble everything following the reverse procedure.
