This brief tutorial demonstrates how to replace the cabin fan resistor on a Ford Escape, second generation model produced from 2008 to 2012. First, remove the passenger side glove box by pressing it firmly on the sides and then lowering it completely.

Next, disconnect the electrical connector from the resistor as shown in the video and remove the two screws holding it in place with a 8mm wrench.

Once done, you can take out the old resistor and replace it with a new one, then reassemble everything by following the reverse procedure.
