Replacement of the front brake pads of the Ford Transit MK8

Let's see how to proceed with the replacement of the front brake pads of the Ford Transit. Loosen the wheel bolts, lift the vehicle with a hydraulic jack and place a jack under the frame, unscrew the bolts and remove the wheel. Rotate the hub outwards, with a sturdy screwdriver move the pads away from the disc, remove the lower bolt of the caliper and rotate it upwards, locking it. Remove the old pads and the anti-noise plates, check the play of the guide pins and clean the surfaces with a brush and specific spray. Retract the caliper pistons with the appropriate tool, install the anti-noise plates and the new pads, reposition the caliper and tighten it with the lower bolt to 60Nm. Put the wheel back on, lower the vehicle and repeat the operation with the other wheel.
