Replacing the Brake Pads on a Ford Transit

Are the rear brake pads on your Ford Transit worn? Here’s how to remove them. Lift the vehicle on a column lift to the desired height, then remove the wheel (using a socket wrench or air impact gun). Unscrew the locking pin of the brake caliper, and remove it from the wheel hub. Remove the brake pads from the rear brake caliper. Fit the new pads, reattach the brake caliper with the support onto the brake disc. Tighten all the pins and refit the wheel. Check the brake fluid (if necessary, bleed and top up).
