Brake Fluid Replacement

Brake fluid replacement is part of vehicle maintenance, and performing this operation ensures the brakes operate efficiently. To replace the fluid, lift the vehicle on suitable jack stands and open the reservoir cap. On the side of each brake, there is a valve protected by a plastic cap. Remove the cap and insert a tube into the valve connected to a collection container. Slightly unscrew the valve and, while pressing the brake pedal, allow the fluid to escape. Close the valve and repeat the same operation on the remaining brakes. After removing the old fluid, fill the reservoir with the recommended new fluid from the manufacturer. Bleed the brake system using the same procedure used for draining.
