Replacement of Blown Fuse

Fuses are safety devices that protect the electrical system from potential short circuits. When a fuse blows, the causes can vary, but the most likely reason is an overload on the circuit. To check if the overload was temporary, simply replace the blown fuse with another of the same rating. If the new fuse blows again, it indicates a short circuit in the electrical system, in which case intervention is necessary to resolve the fault. If the affected electrical system returns to normal operation, the fuse may have blown due to a temporary overload or 'ageing'. Fuses are located in a box within the engine compartment; the cover of the box indicates the ratings of the fuses, their positions, and which circuits they protect. The replacement is very simple; just pull the old fuse out of its socket and insert the new one, which must be of the same amperage rating.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
