How to Remove the Engine from the Ford Mondeo

To remove the engine from the Ford Mondeo, open the bonnet to disconnect all relevant connectors for the sensors located on the engine block. Once the connectors are removed, disconnect all hoses connected to the manifolds, radiator, etc. Then, secure the engine to a hoist and unscrew all bolts fastening the block to the engine mounts on the chassis. This will allow the engine to be lifted with the hoist, removing it from its housing.
