How do you replace the oil filter on a Ford Mondeo? Open and lift the front bonnet to access the oil filter. Using a socket spanner, unscrew the large securing bolt of the container cap where the oil filter is located. Move any hoses and connections to access the filter. Remove the worn oil filter and position a new one. Finally, add the new oil to the sump and close the front bonnet. Test the engine operation after replacing the oil filter. If you have driven a considerable distance, also replace the oil.
