Replacing the oil filter and engine oil on a Ford Mondeo mk3 is a task that can be fully carried out independently. To perform this operation, first open the front bonnet and remove the oil filler cap, then lift the vehicle.

Open the nut that secures the oil sump and allow all the oil to drain out. Once completed, close the nut and lower the vehicle. Remove the nut that secures the filter and replace the oil filter.

Top up the oil in the reservoir and close the front bonnet; start the engine to circulate the oil.
