Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement

Lift the car and secure it with appropriate supports to prevent it from falling. The necessary tools are a ratchet spanner, a set of fixed spanners, a special tool, and a large container for collecting the oil. Position the container under the engine to collect the oil. Unscrew the oil cap on the sump and allow it to drain. Use the special tool to unscrew the filter and remove the cartridge. Replace the used filter cartridge with a new one and refit the filter. Also, replace the copper washer on the oil cap and that of the filter. Close the oil cap, refit the oil filter, and top up with new oil, checking the level with the dipstick. Reset the onboard computer for the next change. Do not dispose of used oil in the environment; take it to appropriate collection centres.
