To change the automatic gearbox oil on a Ford Mondeo, lift the car with a jack or ramp to access the underside of the engine bay. Here, locate the protective panel of the gearbox, which must be removed by loosening its screws. At this point, loosen the drain plug of the reservoir containing the gearbox oil, collecting all the used oil in a suitably positioned container.

Now, top up by inserting the new oil through the same breather.
