In this video we can see where the inertia switch is located in the Ford Taurus and how to proceed in case we need to reset it, an operation to be carried out after an accident but only after a thorough inspection of the vehicle. As shown, the switch in question is located inside the trunk, specifically inside the cover of the right side wall. To reset it, simply open the tailgate, release the cover and press firmly on the upper red element. At this point it will be possible to start the engine.
