In this tutorial, see how to replace the diesel filter in the Ford Focus, a very simple and quick operation. First, ensure the engine is completely cold, then open the bonnet and remove the plastic cover.

Next, locate the filter on the left side of the engine and remove the mounting bracket by unscrewing the relevant bolts with a 10mm socket. At this point, disconnect the various pipes, separate the filter from the upper plate, and fit the replacement by following the reverse procedure.
