How do you deactivate the passenger airbag on a Ford car? We see it in this short but comprehensive video. In fact, there are occasions, such as when we need to transport a small child's car seat, where the passenger airbag could be very dangerous; in fact, even the sun visor on the passenger side warns us of this problem. Resolving it is very simple, and it is the same system for all recently manufactured Ford cars. We need to open the glove box door: at the top right we find a sort of lock surrounded by red where the words "passenger airbag" are indicated. Insert the ignition key (or the emergency key in the case of a car with a push-button start) and turn it to "OFF". The passenger airbag light will immediately turn on. To reactivate it, we just need to do the opposite operation.
