How to Deactivate the Passenger Airbag on Ford Vehicles

This guide explains how to deactivate the passenger airbag on Ford vehicles. To perform this simple operation, access the vehicle and open the passenger side glove compartment. Remove the cover and insert the key into the lock. Turn the lock to Off. When you start the vehicle, a message will appear on the display indicating the system is deactivated. To activate the system, perform the reverse procedure but turn the key to ON. It is not necessary to disconnect the vehicle battery during this operation as you would for removal.
