How to Disable the Passenger Airbag on Ford Vehicles

This video demonstrates how to disable the passenger airbag on Ford vehicles, which is necessary when transporting children in the front seat. By law, when transporting children in a rear-facing child seat, it is mandatory to disable the passenger airbag, as it could cause more harm than good to the small occupant in the event of a collision. The switch to turn to the "off" position is located on the outer side of the glove compartment for left-hand drive models, and inside the glove compartment for right-hand drive models. Turning this switch will also illuminate a light in the centre of the dashboard to remind you that the passenger airbag is disabled.
