How to disassemble the third brake light on a Ford Escape

Today we will see how to disassemble the third brake light of a third generation Ford Escape. So, to remove the third brake light we need to release the clips that hold it in place, there are three located on the top side (two clips on the sides and one in the center) and three more on the bottom side. We start the procedure using plastic levers and releasing the three top clips, then we open the trunk and remove the plastic panel behind the third brake light, then we release the three bottom clips as shown in the video. Once we have done this, we can remove the third brake light from its seat, then disconnect the connector and the windshield washer tube, thus finishing the job.
