Replacing the diesel filter is very important to protect the injection components such as the pump and injectors from potential damage caused by impurities in the fuel; the filter is located in the engine bay, on the right rear side when viewed from the front, next to the battery; start by removing the protective bracket located directly above the filter, then disconnect the connector and pipes; to complete the extraction of the filter, remove the two 10 mm securing pins; empty the filter by rotating the upper lock and unscrewing the three Torx screws to separate the upper plate from the filter element; then install the new filter, replacing the relevant seals, and proceed in reverse for installation.
