How to replace the flat battery in the key fob on a Ford Ecosport? In this video, follow these steps: take your key fob and open the cover to release the metal key. Once extracted, use a screwdriver to pry between the two parts of the key fob cover. Pry until the two covers separate; extract the flat battery with a screwdriver and take a new one of the same size and voltage. Reassemble the two parts of the cover by pressing on the key fob until you hear the locking click. Finally, insert the metal key back into the fob. Check the correct functioning of the key fob.
