Replacing the Key Battery on Ford Ecosport

Let’s replace the battery in the key of a Ford Ecosport. To replace the battery, you need to disassemble the plastic parts of the key. Use a screwdriver to pry between the two parts of the plastic key cover until the plastic parts unlock. Remove the dead battery, take a new one of the same size and voltage. Reassemble the plastic parts of your remote by pressing them together until you hear a click. Check the correct operation of the remote key with the buttons for locking and unlocking the door locks.
