To replace the battery of the Ford Ecosport car remote, we need to lift the metal key and insert a flat-head screwdriver along the side perimeter of the remote. By pushing upwards, the remote cover will be removed and we will have access to the battery compartment. Using the flat-head screwdriver, we remove the old battery and insert the new one. The battery model to use is the CR 2032 3-volt battery. Once the new battery is inserted, we close the remote cover and stand in front of the vehicle to test the remote's functionality.
