How to Change the Battery in a Ford Ecosport

To change the battery in a Ford Ecosport, open the bonnet and locate the battery in the engine bay. Remove the plastic cover above the battery and then disconnect the negative clamp first, followed by the positive clamp. Unscrew the support or bracket that secures the battery in place. Carefully lift the battery out of its housing. Position the new battery in the same orientation as the previous one and reattach the securing bracket. Connect the positive clamp first, then the negative clamp, ensuring they are tight, and then close the bonnet.
