To change the battery in the remote control of a Ford Ecosport MK1, take the remote control and pry it open with a small screwdriver until the two halves of the remote control are separated. Once we have split it in two, separating the part with the key from the part with the electronic components, pry again in the body of the latter, in order to access the button battery, which is a common CR2032, which we can easily find at any supermarket. Putting the new battery back in place, pay attention to the polarity, close the body, and reinsert the part containing the physical key. Operation completed.
