We can see in this tutorial how to change the battery of a Ford Ecosport remote control. So first of all, let's extract the physical emergency key from the remote control by pressing the appropriate release button, then, using the key just extracted, let's leverage the back cover of the remote control to remove it as shown clearly in the video. Once this is done, using a very fine slotted screwdriver, let's remove the old battery from its slot and finally insert a new one with the positive side facing upwards and then close everything back up.
