How to replace the front brake pads of the Ford Fiesta

Today we will explain how to replace the front brake pads on a Ford Fiesta model 6 vehicle. To perform the replacement of the pads, it is necessary to lift the front part of the car by placing it on safety stands and removing the front wheels. After positioning the front wheel under the car, turn the brake pads outwards and insert a screwdriver inside to remove the piston. Using a socket wrench with a 13mm insert, loosen the two bolts of the caliper. Remove the caliper and then slide it off the disc to remove the piston with a flat tip screwdriver. Remove the anti-noise springs with a flat tip screwdriver and clean the pad support with a metal brush to facilitate the insertion of the new pads. Install the anti-noise springs on the support and insert the new pads into the support by sliding them inside. Install the caliper and tighten the caliper bolts. This procedure should be done on both front brakes. Mount the front wheels of the car and lower the vehicle.
