When the service light appears on the instrument panel display, it means that it is necessary to perform the car service and only then carry out the steps related to resetting the light. To perform the reset of the light independently on a 2011 Ford Focus vehicle, we must press the brake pedal and start the ignition of the instrument panel. We press simultaneously on the brake pedal and on the accelerator pedal; we press on the accelerator pedal three times in a row until the reset of the light is completed through the message on the instrument panel display. Once the light has been reset, we restart the instrument panel.
