Removing the Air Conditioning Compressor from a Ford Fiesta

Model: Ford Fiesta Fiesta 6, MK 6, MK VI - Years 2008-2017

Open the bonnet and secure it. Then, using a suitable socket spanner, remove the plates that secure the radiator at the top. If necessary, lift the car on a column lift. Remove the horizontal coil from the radiator using pliers, then use a spanner to unscrew the large hose from the top of the car. Once free from screws and hoses, you can proceed to remove the air conditioning compressor in the engine bay; unscrew the bolts at the base (in the engine bay) to free the air conditioning compressor, then unscrew it along with the attached belt (compare it with the new one and check for proper functioning). Prepare to install the new part in the engine bay, connect the belts, clamps, and tighten securely with a socket spanner. Install the new compressor with all the bolts and various hoses.
