How to update the Sync of our Ford vehicle.

In this video, we can see how to update the Sync (that is, the audio system) of our perhaps slightly older Ford to version 3. We need a USB stick of at least 4 gigabytes formatted in FAT32 and the vehicle identification number (VIN) of our car. Let's go to our PC and type in the Ford website: ford.it, go to support, and then click on "Sync support." We open the dropdown menu on the left and click on "Sync update"; we enter the full VIN and click on "check for updates," then we accept the updates. We download the folder onto the USB stick, and now we move to the vehicle, which we need to keep running for at least 30 minutes: we insert the USB stick into the slot, the screen will recognize the USB stick, and "system update in progress" will appear at the top of the screen. When the installation is complete, the system will notify you, and you can remove the USB stick. Then we open and close the driver's door, lock the door, turn on the ignition, and check that the system has been updated. The only thing left is to update the computer to confirm the system update on our vehicle. We go back to the Ford website with our VIN and confirm.
