In this guide, we will see the instructions that will allow us to open the rear hatch of the Ford Escape from the inside, thus unlocking the closure. First, we open the rear doors and start lowering the seatbacks, gaining access to the interior of the rear hatch. Using a thin, pointed tool, we will disengage the trunk latch by moving the pin to the left, as shown in the video. At this point, we push the hatch to open it, allowing us to carry out the repair or, if necessary, the replacement of the trunk latch.
