How to Replace the Rear Light Bulbs on a Ford Ka MK1

Here's how to change the rear light bulbs on a Ford Ka MK1: open the tailgate and locate a black plastic panel inside the boot, corresponding to the light, held by several bayonet fasteners. Rotate each screw counterclockwise a quarter turn to unlock it, then pull it towards you. Find the bulb holder behind the panel, and by lifting the release lever, pull the entire bulb holder towards you. Remove the old bulb by pressing it inwards and turning it counterclockwise. Insert the new bulb by pressing it inwards and turning it clockwise (use disposable gloves for this operation). Refit the bulb holder into its housing, reposition the panel, and secure it with its fasteners. That's it.
