How to Replace the Indicator Bulb on the Ford Fiesta Wing Mirror

To replace the bulb of the indicator on the wing mirror of the Ford Fiesta, first remove the plastic cover located at the top of the mirror. This will be snap-fitted with three clips located on the inside of the mirror. To access the clips, adjust the mirror downwards to create a gap at the top where three plastic caps will be visible. These can be removed with a flathead screwdriver or a metal hook. Once the caps are removed, the three clips will be visible and can also be disengaged with the help of a screwdriver. After releasing the three clips, you can remove the cover, which will give you access to the inside of the indicator. If necessary, you can replace the entire indicator, which will be secured to the mirror with additional clips, or you can simply extract the bulb holder where the bulb can be replaced with a new one. Once the bulb is replaced, simply reinsert the bulb holder into the indicator and snap the cover back on, ensuring to replace the three caps that protect the clips. It is also advisable to check the bulb's operation before closing everything up to avoid unpleasant surprises once the job is finished.
