Here’s how to reset the tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) on the Ford Focus MK3: this method is valid if the light comes on only for low pressure. Adjust the pressure of all four tyres, turn on the ignition, and drive for about 5 minutes. The TPMS will automatically detect the new pressure, and the light will turn off by itself. If you have changed wheels or sensors, follow a different procedure. Inflate the tyres, turn on the ignition, and press the hazard button (the emergency arrow) six times within 5 seconds. The car will emit a "beep", indicating that the learning procedure has started, beginning with the front left tyre. Deflate the tyre until you hear a "beep", then repeat for the front right, rear right, and rear left tyres. Start the engine, and the TPMS light will turn off.
