To disable the Start&Stop system on the Ford Focus, start the engine by inserting the ignition key into the ignition switch. Once the dashboard is powered on, press the button with the A inside the circular arrow located on the central console of the car. The button will turn yellow to indicate that the system has been disabled; you can reactivate the system by pressing the button again.

The system will also reactivate when you turn off and restart the engine.
