To reset the parking brake on the Ford Focus, produced from 2011 to 2018, you need to put the gear in P, neutral, and ensure the vehicle is stationary. Insert the key into the ignition switch and start the instrument panel.

Activate the electric parking brake and check if it engages or disengages. If the warning light or fault message remains, you need to read and clear the code using the diagnostic computer and the OBD port in the workshop.

Otherwise, if the light goes out, wait a few seconds before restarting the instrument panel.
