Today, I will explain how to independently perform the reset procedure for the service light on a Ford Transit vehicle. The procedure does not require any external tools; to reset, turn on the instrument panel and press the brake pedal fully.

The light on the dashboard will start flashing after one minute. You can then remove your foot from the brake and wait for the mileage to load from the next service interval by restarting the instrument panel.

If there are further issues, it will be necessary to check the oil level sensors or diagnose the vehicle using a scanner.
