Removing the Fan Resistor on a Ford Focus

Let's look at removing the ventilation fan resistor on a Ford Focus. Use a lever to remove the plastic trim inside the front dashboard (glove compartment), then unscrew the cover where the resistor is located with a screwdriver. Disconnect the large connector from the resistor, then pull it out of the cabin. Insert a new fan resistor (connect the power connector). Finally, reassemble the cover trim and the glove compartment (tighten the screws). Check the correct installation of the previously fitted parts and test their proper operation.
