Removing the Steering Wheel on Ford Fiesta

Replacing a damaged steering wheel on a Ford Fiesta, here's how to do it. Disconnect the battery terminals located in the front engine compartment. Remove the inspection plugs at the back of the steering wheel (if present), then use a screwdriver to release the securing clips at the back of the steering wheel (release the airbag). Once the airbag is released (driver's side), disconnect the power connectors and remove it from the steering wheel. Unscrew the central bolt and detach the steering wheel. Fit the new steering wheel, connect the airbag power connectors, press it onto the steering wheel, and engage the rear clips.
