Replacing the damaged gear knob on a Ford Focus, here’s how to remove it. Disconnect the leather gaiter from the knob, hold the knob in your hands and rotate it to the left until you remove it from the gear lever (unscrew the knob). For installation, take the new knob and slide it onto the lever in the centre console, screw it on until secure.

Refit the leather gaiter under the new knob. Finally, test the movement of the lever in the centre console to ensure the knob is fitted correctly.

Replace the gaiter covering the lever if damaged.

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat.
