Change Engine Oil on a Ford Focus

Changing the oil on a Ford Focus? Let's look at the oil replacement process. Open the car's door and pull the lever to open the engine compartment located at the bottom left of the dashboard, then lift the bonnet and secure it. Raise the car on a jack and unscrew the bolt from the oil sump, allowing the fluid to drain into a container. Using a strap wrench, unscrew the large securing bolt of the container cap where the oil filter is located, remove the worn oil filter, and install a new one. Top up the new oil in the engine and close the cap.
