Oil Change for a Ford Focus

Perform an oil change on a Ford Focus. Open the car door and pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, then lift the front bonnet and secure it. Raise the car on a jack and unscrew the oil sump plug; let the oil drain into a container. Unscrew the large securing bolt of the container cap where the oil filter is located. Remove the worn oil filter and fit a new one. Top up with new oil in the engine of the Ford Focus.
