Replacement of Front Door Handle

Using a Torx key, remove the retaining screws located at the bottom and side of the door panel. Remove the handle trim to access the screws that also need to be removed.

Take off the plastic covers from the pillar and remove the window lift switch clip to detach it. Gently push the panel upwards to release it and remove it. Remove the plastic backing panel using a tool to cut through the adhesive. Once removed, access the lock.

Unscrew the screws on the side of the lock and those hidden under the plastic caps to remove the outer handle. Unscrew the screws on the side of the door to remove the lock assembly.

The lock will need to be extracted from its housing after disconnecting the electrical cables and the return cable.

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat. Be careful of any electrical cables or components that may be connected to the seat during removal. Once the rear seat is removed, the disassembly is complete.
