Changing the brake pads on a Ford Focus? Let's remove the wheel and the pads. Unscrew the locking pin of the brake caliper and remove it from the wheel hub. Use a screwdriver to detach the pads from the brake caliper, then install the new pads onto the brake caliper. Refit the brake caliper with the support onto the brake disc, tighten all pins, and reattach the wheel after replacement. Replace the brake pads on the other brake discs. Test the operation of the caliper and its braking performance. Top up the brake fluid reservoir.
