Replacement of Front Headlight Bulb

Model: Ford Focus MK 1 - Years 1998-2004

Starting from the passenger side headlight, unclip the protective cap of the lens by turning it anti-clockwise, unclip the retaining springs of the bulb (H4 fitting) and the connector attached to it. Insert the new bulb, ensuring it is correctly seated in its housing, reclip the retaining springs, connect the power plug, and refit the cap by turning it clockwise. To replace the bulb on the driver’s side headlight, it is necessary to remove the battery for easier access to the bulb holder: once removed, proceed as described above.
