Replacing Front Headlight Bulb with Removal of the Unit

Model: Ford Focus MK 1 - Years 1998-2004

For this operation, you will need a T30 Torx key. Open the bonnet and unscrew the retaining screws of the headlight using the Torx key. Carefully remove the headlight, taking care with the cables, and remove the retaining springs of the plastic cover to access the bulbs. Once the cover is off, remove the bulb holder of the faulty bulb by releasing the retaining springs and take it out. Gently insert the new bulb, being careful not to touch the glass bulb with your hands; if you do, clean the glass with a cloth soaked in alcohol. Securely close the protective cover and refit the headlight.
