Replacing Seat Cords on Ford Fiesta

The tutorial begins with the seat removed from the car. Place the seat on two trestles or a workbench, and remove the rear part of the seat by detaching the two lower side plastics, as shown in the video. Now you can unclip the backrest by inserting a flat screwdriver into the joint at the end and prying it off. Once you reach the top of the seat, stop and start disassembling by removing the seat adjustment handle and inserting the screwdriver to widen the tab. Remove the cords from both the top (pulling it from the attachment) and the bottom by freeing them from their housings. Remove the old cords and fit the new ones, reassembling everything in reverse order. The new cords cost around £80.
