Resetting the service light on a Ford Kuga is a fairly simple operation that can be done manually without professional intervention. First, close all doors and turn on the instrument cluster without starting the engine; this can be done by pressing the start button without touching the pedals. Once the instrument cluster is on, press the brake pedal and the accelerator pedal fully; these should remain pressed for about 15 seconds until the message confirming the reset appears on the instrument cluster. At this point, release the pedals and turn off the instrument cluster by pressing the start button again without touching the pedals.
