Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement

Model: Ford Ka MK 1 - Years 1996-2008

Lift the vehicle on suitable car ramps; if necessary, add a specific internal engine cleaning additive through the oil filler cap before draining the oil. After running the engine at idle for a short period, drain the used oil through the plug located on the side of the oil sump. Also, replace the filter cartridge after coating the seal with oil (do not over-tighten; hand-tightening is sufficient).
Finally, refill the engine with new oil according to the SAE specifications and the quantities indicated in the owner's manual.
